Synopsis

Contemporary Didactic Discourses in the Context of Pedagogical Tradition: Monograph Celebrating the 80th Birthday of prof. pr. Martin Kramar. The monograph Contemporary Didactic Discourses in the Context of Pedagogical Tradition offers a comprehensive exploration of current issues in didactic theory and practice through the lens of the pedagogical legacy of Prof. Dr. Martin Kramar. Structured into four thematic sections, the contributions address essential dimensions of teacher professional development, didactic planning, learning environment design, and the theoretical and historical foundations of teaching. Marija Javornik (ed.), University of Maribor, Faculty of Arts

Dr. Marija Javornik is a full professor of pedagogy at the Department of Pedagogy at the Faculty of Arts, University of Maribor. Her research and pedagogical work focuses on didactics, consultancy and professional development of teachers. She is actively involved in numerous research projects and international collaborations, which allows her to contribute to the development of modern pedagogical practices and the improvement of the quality of education. Her work emphasizes the connection of theoretical knowledge with practical application, especially in the context of professional development and support for the teaching profession.

Milena Ivanuš Grmek (ed.), University of Maribor, Faculty of Education

Dr. Milena Ivanuš Grmek is a higher education teacher and researcher, full professor, PhD in the field of pedagogy. She teaches courses in the field of didactics at the Faculty of Education, University of Maribor. The main area of her research work is the study of learning and teaching in various fields of education, in recent years she has been focusing her research work mainly on higher education didactics. She is the Dean of the Faculty of Education, University of Maribor, President of the Commission for Primary Education, member of the Expert Council of the Republic of Slovenia for General Education and member of the Council for Quality and Evaluation.
