6th National Conference on Local Safety and Security: Safety and Security in Rural and Urban Environments: Conference Proceedings. Conference proceedings comprise peer-reviewed papers presented at the 6th National conference on safety and security in local communities, which took place in December 2020. Safety and security in local communities remain the main topic of annual conferences, however, the dichotomy between urban and rural safety and security was again highlighted this year. Papers present the result of research within the framework of the research programme Safety and security in local communities – comparison of rural and urban environments, conducted at the Institute of Criminal Justice and Security at Faculty of Criminal Justice and Security, University of Maribor. Papers focus on various aspects of safety and security in urban and rural local communities in Slovenia.
