Synopsis

Histology: Instructions for Laboratory Work. Atlas Histology, Instructions for laboratora work, is a visual approach to learning histology. The focal point of the visual approach is to provide medical student with an integrated method learning to the understanding of normal microscopical structure of the human body. Pathology students may find this atlas useful for refreshing basic concept of histology. The contents of the atlas is devided in 20 chapters with color pictures of histological pattern. The first chapter explain the preparation of tissue slices for microscopical examination and the coloring of the histological pattern. The basic structure of the microscope and the technique of the microscopy is descibe in the second chapter. The four classic tissues.:epithelium, connective tissue, muscle tissue and nervous tissue are included in the atlas. Special chapters describe cartilage, bone with ossification, blood and hematopoiesis. The organ system includes lymphatic, sense, digestive, respiratory, urinary, male and female organs, skin, endocrine glands and circulatory system.
