Synopsis

The purpose of the chapter is to examine the need to develop and implement a CRM system for the company Dines d. o. o., which operates in the field of heating, cooling and ventilation, focusing exclusively on the sales module for effective communication with customers in the B2B segment. The research part is based on an in-depth qualitative interview with the company's sales manager, with which we identified the key needs and functionalities that the new system should contain. Based on the information collected, we designed the concept of the sales module and prepared a detailed implementation plan. The result of our research is a conceptual design of a CRM system that will enable more effective management of relationships with business customers and optimization of the company's sales processes. We provided recommendations for long-term use, maintenance and analysis of potential challenges during implementation. We conclude the thesis with findings on the importance of digitalization of sales activities and recommendations for the company's next steps.

Tilen Matjašič, University of Maribor, Faculty of Organizational Sciences

Tilen Matjašič is an undergraduate computer-science student and a full-time development engineer. His focus is on building modern CRM systems and broader data platforms that combine analytics, artificial intelligence, and user-experience optimization. His experience spans end-to-end data-flow design, deployment of machine-learning models, and cloud automation. Outside of work, he deepens his knowledge of machine learning and object recognition, experimenting with state-of-the-art computer-vision algorithms. Curiosity, a systematic approach, and the ability to explain complex topics clearly are his key strengths. Going forward, he aspires to co-create digital solutions that leverage data innovatively to boost process efficiency and user satisfaction.

Goran Vukovič, University of Maribor, Faculty of Organizational Sciences

Prof. dr. Goran Vukovič is a full professor of marketing and human resources at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences of the University of Maribor. As an expert, he covers the areas of human resources, teams, marketing and purchasing through his research, project and consulting work. He is the author of scientific monographs, professional and scientific articles, a reviewer, translator, editor, invited lecturer at foreign universities and a regular participant in conferences in the field of research at home and abroad. He participates in projects or leads EU projects such as MODI, MLAB, Model Implementation (LACORE), European Territorial Cooperation through Technology and Science, etc. Bibliography: COBISS printout contains 645 units.

Maja Rojc, University of Ljubljana, Academy of Music

Maja Rojc is a student at the Academy of Music, University of Ljubljana, where she studies music education. Her research focuses on customer relationship management (CRM) and the digitalization of business processes in companies. Her research activities include analyses of business processes, exploring contemporary IT solutions, and implementing CRM systems into business practice. As part of her research at the company Dines d. o. o., she conducted an in-depth analysis of the current customer relationship management practices, evaluated possibilities for introducing a new CRM system, and developed a strategic proposal for its successful implementation.
