Synopsis

FEB Case Studies: Development, Sustainability, and Innovation in Business Practice 2024. The monograph FEB Case Studies: Development, Sustainability, and Innovation in Business Practice 2024 presents a collection of case studies that illustrate contemporary challenges in the economy while providing insights into innovative and sustainable business practices. It focuses on business development, sustainable operations, and innovation, addressing topics such as eco-design, sustainable business models, strategic growth management, financial decision-making, controlling, digital transformation, and global value chains, bridging academic knowledge with real-world business challenges. Author Biographies

Katja Crnogaj (ed.), University of Maribor, Faculty of Economics and Business

Katja Crnogaj, PhD is an associate professor of Entrepreneurship at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Maribor. She is actively involved in teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Additionally, she serves as the head of the Entrepreneurship study field, a member of the Faculty Committee for Student Affairs, and a member of the Council of the interdisciplinary study program »Industrial Engineering«. As a researcher at the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management, she is a member of the international research team of the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor and the Slovenian Entrepreneurship Observatory and has been actively involved in the longitudinal research programme "Entrepreneurship for an Innovative Society". She is an expert consultant for the OECD in the Inclusive Entrepreneurship project and is also involved in the OECD-EU project Youth Entrepreneurship Policy Academy.

Nataša Gajšt (ed.), University of Maribor, Faculty of Economics and Business

Nataša Gajšt, PhD is a lecturer in English at the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Maribor. She teaches Business English within the undergraduate study programmes Economics and Business Sciences, Business Administration and the interdisciplinary study programme Industiral Engineering. She is a member of the FEB Senate and a member of FEB Reaccreditation Committee. As a teacher and the Head of the Institute of Languages and Foreign Business Languages at FEB, she focuses various aspects of English for specific purposes, with the emphasis on Business English. She is a member of the Slovene Associlation of LSP Teachers, the Slovene Association for the Study of English, the International Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language and the Slovenian Academy of Management.
