Synopsis

Author Biographies

Maja Hmelak (ed.), University of Maribor, Faculty of Education

Dr. Maja Hmelak is an associate professor of pedagogy at the Faculty of Education in Maribor. In pedagogy and science, he focuses on the theory of education, pedagogy, preschool pedagogy, communication and cooperation of parents, educators and teachers, as well as the quality of preschool and overall education. Her professional and scientific work is mainly focused on studying employees' professional development in education. She is the author and co-author of monographs, scientific articles, parts of scientific and professional monographs, scientific articles, reviews. She participates in the editorial boards of international scientific and professional journals, scientific conferences and monographs. She is a member of the National Commission for Vocational Baccalaureate and a member of the National Subject Commission for Preschool Education at the National Examinations Center.

Miha Marinšek (ed.), University of Maribor, Faculty of Education

Associate professor Miha Marinšek worked as a sports teacher, coach, and sports referee. He is the author or co-author of scientific articles, books, university textbooks, a reviewer of many articles and books, a mentor for theses and master's theses, and a member of the editorial board of the international journal Sport scientific and practical aspects. His areas of activity are motor development, motor learning, experiential pedagogy with sports means, competencies for the professional development of students and various aspects of sports gymnastics. Today he is employed as a university teacher at the Faculty of Education of the University of Maribor. He participates in projects of the European Union, the Sports Foundation, and scientific committees of conferences.
