Author Biographies

Borut Milfelner (ed.), University of Maribor, Faculty of Economics and Business

Borut Milfelner, PhD, is a full professor of marketing and assistant professor of tourism at the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Maribor. He received his PhD in 2008 from the School of Economics and Business, University of Ljubljana. His research interests include marketing research, interna! marketing, marketing in tourism and marketing theory. His bibliography comprises more than 350 items of literature, including original scientific articles, severa! published papers at scientific conferences, scientific monographs and independent scientific papers or chapters in monographic publications. He has participated in severa! (basic and targeted} projects of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport, the Public Agency for Research of the Republic of Slovenia, the Ministry of Economy and the Slovenian Tourist Board, as well as in European Union projects. He is a member of the editorial board of three international scientific journals in the field of business sciences and a reviewer in several domestic and foreign scientific journals.

Igor Vrečko (ed.), University of Maribor, Faculty of Economics and Business

Igor Vrečko, PhD, is a full professor of general management and Vice-dean for Development projects and Practice Engagement at the University of Maribor's Faculty of Economics and Business, Slovenia. His research focuses on project management and its integration with strategic, innovation, and crisis management. He has published over 100 papers in national and international journals and books. He was a director of the international project management certification process in Slovenia and is currently the president of the Slovenian Project Management Association. He is the Head of the Institute of Project Management at the University of Maribor.

Sabina Veršič (ed.), University of Maribor, Faculty of Economics and Business

Sabina Veršič, PhD, received her PhD in 2022 from the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Maribor. She is currently employed in the Department of Research. She is primarily responsible for performing supportive tasks within scientific research, collaboration with the industry, and promotional activities. She provides administrative and professional support to researchers in applying for research projects and preparing various reports.
