Synopsis

Publication Case studies on European order for payment procedure and European small claims procedure was created as part of the Train to Enforce project and is the result of the collaboration of eight faculties of law across Europe. The publication contains numerous case studies focusing on European order for payment procedure (Regulation No. 1896/2006) and European small claims procedure (Regulation No. 861/2007). Case studies focus on both the practical and theoretical aspects of the European order for payment procedure and European small claims procedure. They will promote self-learning on cross-border debt collection in the EU.

Author Biographies

Tjaša Ivanc (ed.), University of Maribor, Faculty of Law

Prof. Dr. Tjaša Ivanc is an associate professor at the Faculty of Law, University of Maribor. Her main research areas are Civil Procedure Law, European Procedure law, Enforcement Law, and Cultural Heritage Law. Prof. dr. Tjaša Ivanc is the author and editor of several books and scientific articles in the fields of her interests. She cooperated in many international and national projects (e.g. Train to Enforce, Diversity of Enforcement Titles in cross-border Debt Collection in EU, Remedies concerning Enforcement of Foreign Judgements according to Brussels I Recast, Dimensions of Evidence in European Civil Procedure, Simplification of debt collection in the EU, LAWTrain).

Vesna Rijavec (ed.), University of Maribor, Faculty of Law

Prof. dr. Vesna RIJAVEC has been a lecturer at the Faculty of Law, University of Maribor since 1992, where she has been a full professor since 2007. He participates in the subjects Family and Inheritance Law, Civil Procedure Law, Civil Procedure Law: Selected Topics, Civil Enforcement Law and Non-litigious Procedures. Since 2015, he has been the dean of the Faculty of Law of the University of Maribor. She is the (co) author of several scientific monographs, original scientific articles and the holder of domestic and European research projects.
