Re-translations to Paratexts to Children’s Literature: The Diversity of Literary Translation

Ddr. Natalia Kaloh Vid is an Associate Professor at the Department of Translation Studies, Faculty of Arts, University of Maribor, Slovenia, where she teaches various courses in translation studies, literature and intercultural communication. She holds a Ph.D. in English Literature and Translation studies from the University in Maribor and another Ph.D. in Contemporary Russian Literature from the University of Ljubljana. She is the author of three and a co-author of one book. She has also authored over fifty scientific articles and chapters in scientific monographs. The list of her publications includes articles on various aspects of literary translations, but primarily on the influence of ideology on literary translations, translating culturally-specific elements and retranslations. As a visiting professor, she has lectured at universities in Edinburgh, Dublin, Vienna, Zadar, Dubrovnik, Rijeka, Belgrade, Poznan, Sofia and Graz.
