Synopsis

The subject Cloud Computing Deployment and Management is included in the second-cycle Bologna Study Programme Computer Science and Information Technologies as a full-time study unit. This document presents study material for computer exercises in this subject. After an introduction, then individual tasks with solutions to the computer exercises in the subsequent chapters are provided. This is followed by a list of archived files containing the computer format of the provided solutions.

Author Biography

Aleš Zamuda, University of Maribor, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science

Ales Zamuda holds a PhD in Computer Science and Informatics from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, University of Maribor, where he is employed since 2006 and teaches the postgraduate course Cloud Computing Deployment and Management. He works within the research group of the Laboratory for Computer Architectures and Languages and the program group Computer Systems, Methodologies and Intelligent Services. His areas of interest, in addition to cloud computing, include differential evolution, multi-objective optimization, evolutionary robotics, and artificial life. He has published numerous articles in scientific journals. He is a senior member and representative of several IEEE organizational units, a review writer and editor for renowned scientific journals, and a research project manager.
