Vanja Erčulj acquired a university degree in Psychology and the scientific titles of Master and Doctor of Science at the Interdisciplinary Study of Statistics at the University of Ljubljana. Her research work included cooperation with researchers from many research fields. She was employed at Valicon d.o.o. as a key account manager, ro sigma as statistical analyst, and afterwards established her own company dealing with methodological and statistical counseling. Currently she lectures and assists with teaching the methodological and statistical subjects at the Faculty of Criminal Justice and Security.

Jerneja Šifrer holds a Master of Science in quality of services with an emphasis on information sciences and statistical methods in the social sciences. She was employed at the Faculty of Criminal Justice and Security at University of Maribor from 2007 as an assistant in the field of statistical methods in criminal justice and security. In 2015 she has transferred her knowledge and experience to the Civil Aviation Agency, where she deals with the principles of compliance and safety in the area of civil aviation.
