A szlovéniai magyar nyelv a többnyelvűség kontextusában

Kolláth Kolláth Anna a szlovéniai magyar nemzeti kisebbség nyelvi helyzetének, nyelvhasználatának ismert és elismert kutatója. Több nemzetközi kutatócsoport tagjaként, illetve a Maribori Egyetem Magyar Nyelv és Irodalom Tanszékének oktatójaként foglalkozik a témával. Számos tudományos monográfia, tanulmány szerzője. Legújabb kötetében az utóbbi néhány év legfrissebb, legaktuálisabb kutatási eredményeit foglalja össze. A tudományos monográfia egyik központi kérdése a két- és többnyelvűség. A szerző a kétnyelvűség kontextusában tekinti át mindazokat a kérdéseket, melyek a kötetben előkerülnek. A monográfia témáját több oldalról, a nemzetközi, a szlovéniai és a magyar tudományos szakirodalom figyelembe vételével, de saját kutatásaira alapozva dolgozza fel. Kolláth Anna oktatói munkáját dicséri, hogy a monográfiában szereplő egyes tanulmányok olyan kutatásokra épülnek, melyeket a Maribori Egyetem Magyar Nyelv és Irodalom Tanszékén végeztek, mégpedig a diákok bevonásával. A tudományos monográfia ebben arra is jó és követendő példát mutat, miként lehet és kell összekapcsolni a tudományos kutatást az oktatással, a tudományos utánpótlás nevelésével. A hallgatók részvétele egyrészt hozzájárul ahhoz, hogy az egyetemi oktatásban elsajátított elméleti anyagot a gyakorlatban, a valóságban is tapasztalhassák, hogy jobban megismerjék Szlovénia nyelvi valóságát, a régió kétnyelvűségét. Másrészt a diákok bevonása a kutatómunkába kitűnő lehetőség arra, hogy a hallgatók gyakorlati tapasztalatokra, csak a terepen folytatott munka során elsajátítható készségekre tegyenek szert. A szlovéniai magyar nyelv a többnyelvűség kontextusában című tudományos monográfia újszerű módon tárgyalja a választott témát. Olyan kutatási programokról számol be, amelyek elméleti és gyakorlati szempontból egyaránt tudományosan értékes és hasznos adatokkal, információkkal gazdagítják eddigi ismereteinket a szlovéniai magyarok kétnyelvűségéről, nyelvi helyzetéről, nyelvhasználatáról. Figyelemre méltó tudományos teljesítmény.

The Slovenian-Hungarian in the Context of Multilingualism. Kolláth Anna Kolláth is a well-known and respected researcher on the linguistic situation and language use of the Hungarian national minority in Slovenia. She is a member of several international research groups and a lecturer at the Department of Hungarian Language and Literature at the University of Maribor and author of numerous scientific monographs and studies. This latest volume summarizes the most recent research findings of the past few years. Bilingualism and multilingualism are at the heart of the scientific monograph. In the context of bilingualism, the author reviews all the issues that appear in the volume. She deals with the topic of the monograph from several angles, taking into account the international, Slovenian and Hungarian scientific literature, but based on her own research. Anna Kolláth praises her teaching work that some of the studies in this monograph are based on research conducted at the Department of Hungarian Language and Literature at the University of Maribor, involving students. In this, the scientific monograph also provides a good and follow-up example of how scientific research can and should be linked to education and the education of the scientific generation. On the other hand, engaging students in research is an excellent opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience and skills that can be acquired through field work. The scientific monograph entitled Slovenian-Hungarian in the Context of Multilingualism discusses the chosen topic in a novel way. She reports on research programs that enrich our knowledge of the bilingualism, language situation and language use of Slovenian Hungarians, both theoretically and practically, with scientifically valuable and useful data and information. It is a remarkable scientific achievement.
