Dr. Darja Senčur Peček is a Full Professor of Law at the University of Maribor, Faculty of Law. She is the head of the Department of Labour Law, head of the Institute for Labor Relations and Social Security at the Faculty of Law, and vice dean of the faculty. At the faculty, she teaches courses Labour Law, Social Security Law, and Labour and Social Law : selected topics. She regularly participates in domestic and international conferences and national and international research projects, and publishes scientific and professional articles in domestic and foreign legal journals. She is one of the editors of the commentary on the Employment Relationships Act and co-author of the commentary on the Civil Servants Act. She is also the editor or member of the editorial boards of several journals.

Dr. Aljoša Polajžar is an Assistant Professor at the University of Maribor, Faculty of Law. In September 2024, he defended his doctoral dissertation "Collective labour rights of platform workers", which he prepared under the supervision of Full professor Darja Senčur Peček, Ph.D. His research interests predominantly include various legal aspects of employee protection in an employment relationship (new forms of work, protection of privacy and personal data of the worker, collective labour law, human rights, the challenges of digitisation and artificial intelligence, platform work, etc.). He has co-authored commentaries on the Labour Relations Act, the Civil Servants Act and the Public Sector Wage System Act.
