Synopsis

FEB Case Studies: Development, Sustainability and Innovation in Business Practice 2025/2026. The monograph FEB Case Studies: Development, Sustainability and Innovation in Business Practice 2025/2026 presents a collection of case studies that highlight current challenges of the modern economy and provide insights into innovative and sustainable business practices. It addresses topics such as digital marketing, sustainable tourism development, digital transformation of firms, complaint management and customer experience in global organizations, the sharing economy, and the monitoring of inflation expectations. The monograph connects academic foundations with real-world business challenges, offering a deeper understanding of the complexity of today’s business environment. Through practical examples, the authors demonstrate how organizations build competitive advantages, implement digital and sustainable solutions, and make strategic decisions. Author Biographies

Katja Crnogaj (Ed.), University of Maribor, Faculty of Economics and Business

Katja Crnogaj, PhD is an associate professor of Entrepreneurship at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Maribor. She is actively involved in teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Additionally, she serves as the head of the Entrepreneurship study field, a member of the Faculty Committee for Student Affairs, and a member of the Council of the interdisciplinary study program »Industrial Engineering«. As a researcher at the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management, she is a member of the international research team of the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor and the Slovenian Entrepreneurship Observatory and has been actively involved in the longitudinal research programme "Entrepreneurship for an Innovative Society". She is an expert consultant for the OECD in the Inclusive Entrepreneurship project.
