Synopsis

Modeling, analysis, synthesis and realization of control systems. The textbook covers all stages in the design of control systems. First, he thoroughly presents the methods for determining mathematical models. Methods for analyzing derived mathematical models are presented. Based on the acquired knowledge, a synthesis of control systems is made. The realization of discrete control systems is demonstrated.

Author Biography

Jožef Ritonja, University of Maribor, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science

Jožef Ritonja received his B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Maribor, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in 1986, 1989 and 1996, respectively, all in Electrical Engineering. Since 1987 he has been working at the University of Maribor, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in the field of Control Theory, Control Applications and Electrical Machines. He is an Associate Professor and Head of the Laboratory for Control and Electrical Machines.
