The Impact of Music on Networking and Education

Maja Rojc is a student at the Academy of Music of the University of Ljubljana, where she is enrolled in the first-cycle study programme in Music Pedagogy. She began her musical path at the Ljubljana Vič–Rudnik Music School and continued her education at the Ljubljana Conservatory of Music and Ballet, where she completed her secondary education in piano. She also graduated from a secondary preschool education programme, where she gained her first practical experience in educational work. Her research interests are mainly focused on music pedagogy and the role of music in educational environments. She also gains pedagogical experience as a piano teacher, while actively participating in project work and researching the connections between music, learning and individual development.

Tilen Matjašič is a student at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences of the University of Maribor, where he is studying Organization and Management of Information Systems. He previously completed secondary vocational education in the field of computer science. His professional field includes the development of digital solutions, information systems, process automation and data analysis, which he also connects with research on user experience and event organisation. In his research work, he focuses mainly on understanding the influence of the environment on participants, with particular interest in educational events, networking, communication among participants and the ways in which a thoughtfully designed environment can contribute to a better experience and more effective knowledge transfer. His research interests are connected with digitalization, user experience, organizational processes, data analysis and the integration of technological and social perspectives in educational environments.

Marta Kržič, a specialist pianist, completed her postgraduate studies in piano under the guidance of professor Aci Bertoncelj at the Academy of Music of the University of Ljubljana. She is employed at the Academy of Music, University of Ljubljana, where she currently serves as head of the Department of Complementary Piano.She performs both in Slovenia and internationally, collaborating in various chamber ensembles. As a soloist, she has appeared with different orchestras. She is also involved in research projects related to the field of music.Her students have won first prizes at international piano competitions and have received the highest distinctions, including Laureate titles, Trophies, and Grand Prix awards. She has frequently served as a member of international competition juries in the disciplines of piano and complementary piano. In addition, she has repeatedly been recognized with awards for outstanding teaching at these competitions.
