Author Biographies

Sašo Dolenc

Sašo Dolenc is the author of numerous books, articles, and essays on science, technology, and society. He studied physics and philosophy at the University of Ljubljana. He is particularly dedicated to presenting complex ideas to the general public in a clear and critical manner. Far nearly three decades, he has been running Kvarkadabra, a popular science website featuring thousands of articles, lectures, and other resources. He is a member of UNESCO's World Commission on the Ethics of Scientific Knowledge and Technology (COMEST), and his books have also been published in English and Chinese.

Zarja Muršič

Zarja Muršič is a biologist, cognitive scientist, and evolutionary anthropologist by training, and currently works as a science communicator and journalist. She covers topics related to biology, climate change, and technology, and is particularly interested in exploring fascinating connections between society and science. Her work has appeared on Radio študent, Val 202, Metina lista, and Strašno hudi, as well as in other media outlets. She regularly posts short science videos on social media and is also an ambassador far citizen science in Slovenia as part of a European citizen science project.
