Podatkovne semantične smernice kot temelj upravljanja podatkov in semantične interoperabilnosti v javni upravi

The article presents the main points of the document "Data Semantic Guidelines", published in March 2026 by the Ministry of Digital Transformation (now the Ministry of the Interior and Public Administration). The guidelines were created with the support of experts from the Faculty of Computer Science and Informatics of the University of Ljubljana and in cooperation with various public administration bodies. The guidelines combine the contents of data management and semantic interoperability in one place. For high-quality decision-making and data-based policy-making, we need high-quality and interoperable data, good management and thus the possibility of using new technologies. The guidelines represent the foundation for further development and better, including cross-border, data exchange in accordance with European and international recommendations and are a standard for application developers and other users in public administration bodies.
