Communication in a Longevity Society
Synopsis
In the society we live in, the pace of technological, social, cultural, economic, and natural change is accelerating every year, promoting various opportunities and the need for adaptation. The diversity of generations undoubtedly enriches society, but on the other hand, it poses challenges that are particularly noticeable in the field of communication. Given demographic changes and the aging of the population, it is assumed that rapid technological development is leaving the older generation behind, with numerous approaches attempting to encourage all generations to embrace the means of communication offered by technology. Young people, on the other hand, are practically born with technology that enables both indirect and direct communication, so it goes without saying that a communication strategy in a long-lived society requires ever greater synergy between generations, given the diversity of generations.
