65 Years of Legal Science in Maribor. The scientific monograph “65 Years of Legal Science in Maribor” represents the result of diverse, substantively rich, and methodologically well-considered research work by numerous authors—university professors and teaching and research staff employed at the Faculty of Law, University of Maribor—each contributing in their respective fields of law to the understanding of legal science and addressing the challenges brought by society, technological progress, and globalization processes. The thematic scope of the contributions is broad and covers numerous legal disciplines, ranging from criminal, civil, and commercial law to labour and social law, European Union law, legal theory, and legal history. The work addresses both fundamental theoretical questions and concrete legal institutions and practical challenges. It is oriented towards critical analysis and the search for answers to complex legal questions, while creating a space for dialogue between different legal disciplines, approaches, and generations of legal scholars.
