Kratka vsebina

Večjezična komunikacija in sodno tolmačenje v Sloveniji: Izzivi in pogledi. Pričujoča monografija se posveča področju sodnega tolmačenja, ki postaja zanimivo raziskovalno področje prevodoslovja kot mlade interdisciplinarne znanstvene vede, saj je neizogibno pri azilnem postopku, policijskih zaslišanjih, narokih na sodiščih in na področju zdravstvene oskrbe, ko govorimo o tujih državljanih, ki ne govorijo in razumejo slovenščine kot uradnega jezika. Ta povečan interes je gotovo posledica dejstva, da se v zadnjih letih številne države, ki prej niso imele veliko izkušenj s tujimi državljani, soočajo z vedno številčnejšo ekonomsko migracijo, ki povzroča določene izzive in zahteva ustrezno jezikovno politiko ter dodatno izobraževanje za sodne tolmače. Sodni tolmači so strokovnjaki in izvedenci za večjezično posredovanje, ki nastopajo v vlogi sodišča kot državne institucije in tujega državljana, ki ne pozna pravnih in zakonskih predpisov ter ne razume in ne govori jezika sodstva, v našem primeru slovenščine. Gre za interdisciplinarno zasnovano monografijo, ki išče poti in načine izboljšanja sodelovanja med sodnimi tolmači in pravnimi strokovnjaki. V ospredju razprave je vzpostavitev in razvoj medkulturnih pravnotolmaških klinik, ki omogočajo usposabljanje in izobraževanje bodočih tolmačev in pravnikov ter izsledki raziskav v luči mednarodnega projekta TRANSLaw.

Biografije avtorja

Vlasta Kučiš, Univerza v Mariboru, Filozofska fakulteta

Vlasta Kučiš je redna profesorica s področja prevajalstva in tolmačenja na Oddelku za prevodoslovje Filozofske fakultete Univerze v Mariboru. Vodi mednarodno mrežo in prevodoslovno akademijo TRANS (TRANScultural Communication and TRANSlation) ter raziskovalno skupino Prevodoslovne študije in medkulturna komunikacija (2565-010). Na Ministrstvu za pravosodje RS sodeluje kot članica Komisije za preizkus strokovnega znanja bodočih sodnih tolmačev za nemški jezik. Pri ARIS je vključena v delo Znanstvenoraziskovalnega sveta za interdisciplinarne raziskave. Kot predavateljica in raziskovalka ter članica projektnih skupin TRANSLaw in EDU-FIT se redno udeležuje Erasmus in CEEPUS izmenjav in sodeluje na številnih mednarodnih konferencah o komuniciranju, prevajanju in tolmačenju. Njeno raziskovalno področje zajema medkulturno komunikacijo, sodno tolmačenje, strokovno prevajanje in teorijo ter zgodovino prevajanja.

Miha Šepec, Univerza v Mariboru, Pravna fakulteta

Miha Šepec, izredni profesor kazenskega prava, je diplomiral leta 2010 na Pravni fakulteti Univerze v Ljubljani in kasneje leta 2015 doktoriral iz kazenskega prava na Pravni fakulteti Univerze v Mariboru. Objavil je več kot 250 del s področja kazenskega prava, mednarodnega in ustavnega prava. Specializira se na kibernetsko kriminaliteto, teorijo kazenskega prava, kazenski proces, medijsko pravo in kazensko-ustavno doktrino. Je avtor znanstvene monografije Kibernetska kriminaliteta: Kazniva dejanja in analiza kazenskega prava, urednik in vodilni avtor Komentarja Kazenskega zakonika, urednik in vodilni avtor Komentarja Zakona o kazenskem posotpku ter eden od avtorjev Komentarja Ustave Republike Slovenije.

Natalia Kaloh Vid, Univerza v Mariboru, Filozofska fakulteta

Ddr. Natalia Kaloh Vid je izredna profesorica na Oddelku za prevodoslovje Filozofske fakultete Univerze v Mariboru, kjer poučuje medkulturno komunikacijo, strokovno prevajanje in teorijo prevajanja. Njen prvi doktorat se osredotoča na vpliv ideologije na literarno prevajanje. Drugi doktorat je naredila iz sodobne ruske književnosti. Je avtorica petih znanstvenih monografij in več kot 100 znanstvenih člankov in poglavij. Kot gostujoča predavateljica je predavala na univerzah na Škotskem, Irskem, v Angliji, Avstriji, na Poljskem, v Srbiji in Bolgariji ter sodelovala kot raziskovalka v različnih mednarodnih projektih. Seznam njenih publikacij vključuje članke o vplivu ideologije na prevode, prevajanju kulturno specifičnih elementov in posodabljanju prevodov.
