Kratka vsebina

People are in the center when creating Data Governance practices. Data Management can be developed into a user-centric using Service Design principles to address challenges in Data Governance, Data Quality, and data interoperability. This article emphasises the importance of placing people at the center of Data Governance. Through literature review, survey, and co-creation workshops, a service concept was designed to foster collaboration and shared ownership. Findings reveal gaps in Data Governance and Data Management practices, highlighting the need for structured Data Management frameworks and human-centred approaches. The paper contributes to theory and practice by demonstrating how Service Design supports cultural adoption and co-creation in Data Management.
