Synopsis

The Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Maribor, organized the 10th International Scientific Conference "Sustainable Governance and Management: Navigating the ESG and AI Transformation." The conference united international researchers, professionals, and practitioners to explore governance and management challenges as Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) criteria intersect with transformative Artificial Intelligence (AI). Presentations addressed strategic, ethical, and regulatory implications of integrating ESG and AI in organizations through various aspects of organizational work. The event fostered interdisciplinary knowledge exchange and academia–industry collaboration to advance responsible, innovative governance and management practices for a sustainable future.

Author Biography

Zlatko Nedelko (ed.), University of Maribor, Faculty of Economics and Business

Zlatko Nedelko, PhD, is a full professor of business management at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Maribor, Slovenia and a visiting professor at Corvinus University, Budapest. He has published his findings in reputable international journals and monographs published by reputable international publishers (e.g. Pearson, Palgrave Macmillan, Routledge). He has led a number of projects funded by the Public Fund for Human Resources Development of the Republic of Slovenia and projects of international bilateral cooperation funded by ARRS. He is also a member of the Programme Group - Entrepreneurship for an Innovative Society - P5- 0023. He is currently leading the Interreg Danbue project Danube4SEecosystem.
