8. Posvet pravo in ekonomija

Law, Economics and Wine / 8th Conference Law and Economics, December 2015, Maribor, Slovenia. This collection of conference papers include scientific papers presented by scholars dedicated to the study of law and economics at the 8^th conference on Law and Economics in Maribor. The central topic of this conference was the economic, cultural and legal framework for wine industry. The papers are covering some traditional legal issues such as geographical indications, legislative issues and consumer protection, but also problems related to national rules on marketing as a barrier to free movement of goods. Special paper is dedicated to the status of the Maribor’s Old Vine as an object of cultural heritage and its possible inclusion on the UNESCO World Heritage list. One of the papers covers challenges for Slovenian wine producers trying to export to China, and there is also a paper dedicated to wine rituals, marketing and the corresponding legislation. The selection of papers is trying to address both the needs of the wine industry as well as scientific challenges lying in this field of interdisciplinary research.
